Ever since I can remember, I have enjoyed making things with my hands. I probably have the women in my family to thank for that, as I have many fond memories of learning various crafts alongside my mother, sister, grandmothers, and niece. We fashioned ornaments, dolls, baskets, textiles, stained glass, even furniture, but most of all, we had fun!
I got my first beading loom when I was about eight and began making bracelets with beads. Much later, I got into glass-making (another memory I share with my late grandmother, mom, sister, and niece!). My wonderful and supportive husband eventually convinced me to offer some pieces for sale, and so, Glass By Grace was born!
I still love learning creative techniques and new ways to apply them. More than that, though, I enjoy dreaming up colorful, intricate designs, making them come to life with my hands, and sharing them with people who appreciate wearing unique and one-of-a-kind designs.
"God has filled them with skill to do all manner of work...those who do every work and those who design artistic works." ~ Exodus 35:35
